THE ISLE mudec, 2017 Project created for Mudec Museum of Cultures in Milan in collaboration with the Ahora Cuba exhibition. The artist made paper boats using Cuban children's drawings, then set the boats floating on the island realized by crushed bottles filled up with tempera colors. The art work represents three Cuban must-haves: reuse of materials, colors and isle isolation. The photo triptych shows a boat that slowly disappears. This project has been created after the announcement of the new embargo decided by Trump in summer 2017. Plastic bottles, tempera colors, paper, 2017.
